LAHORE: Addressing a rally in Jaranwala on Thursday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan announced his support for Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri in his struggle to seek justice for victims of Model Town incident.
Imran said that he would not rest until those responsible for the incident are behind bars. He also criticised Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) government and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif who he alleged were responsible for the incident.
Imran also alleged that PML-N’s vision consists of looting money from the people in the name of development projects.
He further said that the people of Pakistan now knew about the truth about PML-N’s ideology.
